First things first. I am not a professional nutritionist – I’m an economist, a strategy consultant and a mother of two. I have, however, recently become a nutrition fanatic. I attend nutrition courses at Stanford University and spend much of my time researching nutrition related topics online, reading the product labels and reviewing research papers in order to find out answers to ongoing nutrition questions.
Having learned and collected so much nutrition related information, I was searching for a good way to organise my own personal thoughts on the subject. In addition, my friends were always asking me questions about what we should be buying and eating. So I decided to set up a blog called Tastes Nutritious to provide easy answers to everyday nutrition questions.
There are many topics that I want to cover on my blog. There is plenty of great science around nutrition. But there is also misinformation, ignorance, and occasionally outright misleading advertising out there. My aim is to write a new Tastes Nutritious post every week so keep an eye out for new posts.
Thanks for reading and can’t wait to get started! If you have any particular questions or thoughts about what I should cover, please comment on this post!
